Jacket privacy policy
Effective September 11, 2026.
Jacket is published by Nicholas Wong. This policy covers the iPhone app.
Information in the app
Jacket stores the cover titles, subtitles, author names, design choices, and saved shelf entries you create on your device. Jacket does not send this content to the developer or a server. The app has no account system, advertising, analytics, or tracking.
Photos and sharing
Photo permission is optional. If you choose Save to Photos, Jacket requests permission only to add the image you export. It does not request permission to read your photo library.
If you choose to share an image, iOS sends the image to the destination you select. That destination's policies apply to what you share there.
Storage and deletion
Deleting a cover removes it from Jacket's shelf. Exported images remain wherever you saved or shared them; delete those copies through Photos, Files, or the destination service. Deleting Jacket removes its local shelf. Your operating system may include app data in device backups, under your backup settings.
Links
If you open an external support or Apple help link, the destination's privacy practices apply. Jacket does not send your saved covers with those links.
Changes
This policy will be updated if the app's data practices change.
