App summary

Sunscreen Buddy is an iPhone and Apple Watch app for local UV guidance, sunscreen reminders, and time-based reapplication planning. People features let you connect privately with up to 100 accepted friends and send one outbound Nudge per week for free. Premium adds unlimited Nudges, every Buddy, Apple Watch integration, and optional Apple Health workout adjustments.

People safety

People is for ages 13 and older. It connects up to 100 mutual friends and has no public directory, chat, contact upload, or follower counts. Usernames are exact-match addresses and do not verify anyone's real identity.

Incoming requests can be declined or blocked and reported. Reports use fixed categories: impersonation, harassment, hate or sexual content, and other. Reports do not include messages, location, sunscreen products, or application history. Blocking disconnects an existing Buddy when necessary and prevents reconnection until the blocker removes the block.

Do not impersonate, threaten, harass, deceive, use objectionable usernames, automate username guessing, evade request limits or blocks, or use repeated Nudges to pressure someone. Reported usernames may be suspended during review. For a safety concern or moderation appeal, email eggheadlabs.dev@gmail.com.

Common actions

Start or reset a reminder: open the app and tap Reapplied after applying sunscreen.

Check timing: the main screen shows how long is left and the due time.

Change sunscreen settings: open Settings in the app and adjust SPF, activity, water resistance, alert timing, or the current interval.

Use Local UV: enable Local UV in Settings, then allow approximate location access or choose a city.

Use the complication: add Sunscreen to a compatible Watch face to keep the current protection status visible.

Use notifications: allow notifications when prompted so the app can alert you when the timer is due.

Manage People data: open People settings to disconnect this device or delete your People account. Deleting a People account does not cancel an App Store subscription.
